GMDI stands for Geometry Dash Indonesia. We are an Indonesian Geometry Dash player and creator community.

This website started from the lack of appreciation given to well-achieved players and creators. Before this website existed, the leaderboard was in the form of a Google Sheet created by Abdi Haryadi. I (BlUhOl) decided to convert it into a website to improve accessibility and presentation.

We hope this Leaderboard can give our players and creators a spotlight that they deserve, and unify the community.

The main requirements are that the person is Indonesian and legitimate meaning they do not use cheating or hacks.

In most cases you need to join the GMDI Discord Server and ask there especially by mentioning Abdi Haryadi (the Database Administrator) in the #general-gd channel.

If you are acquainted with one of us or someone with credibility such as server staff and they notice you, they will usually ask the DBA to add your account to the leaderboard.

If you found any issue on certain player like not displayed correctly, the player have cheated, and etc. please contact us on GMDI Discord Server.

On the other hand, you may notice some player listed on the leaderboard even though they have no global rank, this happen because these player have issue on the past, reset their account and vouched by many individual to prove that they have no more issue.

This section is only written by BlUhOl, and more fall into the RANT category than the answer category.

We heavily rely on Colon's gdbrowser API because it's such a pain to fetch directly from the RobTop server.

There's a rate limit with a huge time of IP block if exceeded, and it sucks to parse the response (it's so stupidly bad even though there's already a doc for that).

Maybe if RobTop decided to put his money to ACTUALLY improve the game, like hiring someone to fix the game's whole system (someone actually show me how to hack into an account without needing to get the password??) rather than putting money on useless Creator Contests with the dumbest judges and stupid results, things like this would not be such a problem.
